Uncomfortable or in Denial — We Must Call Things What They Are

I do not claim to be prescient or having special abilities, but I do pay attention to trends and events. Maybe being trained as a historian, being sensitive, and spending time studying the rise of fascism and totalitarian institutions played a part in my growing alarm of the rise of fascism in America dating back to the 1980s but particularly after September 11, 2001.
